The Plaza is one of America’s most celebrated hotels. Since it opened its doors in 1907, the Plaza has always been the premier choice of knowledgeable travelers. Located at Fifth Avenue and Central Park South, it was constructed in the most fashionable section of New York, bounded on the east by Fifth Avenue and on the north by Central Park.

The Plaza was built with all the pomp, glory, and opulence of a French chateau. Exquisitely decorated everywhere you turn you see pristine elegance and beauty, the rich detailing and the spectacular presence that are The Plaza’s birthright. The Plaza’s four restaurants are built to cater to the different tastes and moods of their sophisticated clientele. The hotel also comes equipped with a full service Spa, a full service business center with business machines, computers and faxes, which can receive outside faxes and top of the line security. When reserving your room make sure to inform the Plaza’s Reservation Department that you will be attending the American Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery Meeting.

The ASSFN has negotiated a reduced room rate of $300 for meeting registrants.

Reservations and deposits received after April 21, 2003 will not be guaranteed and will be confirmed on a space-available basis at The Plaza’s published rates.

The front desk is located in the 59th Street lobby.

Rates are approximate and are subject to change. To insure best rates, we suggest you indicate that you are an NYU Medical Center meeting registrant and make your reservations early.

Rooms are in very heavy demand in New York City; we urge you to make your reservation early.
